Malbec now better known as the iconic wine grape of Argentina. Through its success in the vineyards of Mendoza, Argentina has gained international fame, simultaneously bringing attention and respect to Argentina as a wine-producing nation. Agrelo's terroir is considered to be some of the best in Mendoza for the production of big, complex red wines made from the Malbec grape variety. Las Perdices Malbec, a 100% malbec wine, harvested on the heartland of Agrelo. It has an intense purple red color, loved for it's complex berry aromas with delicate oak touches. Soft in mouth, balanced, plum and cherry notes. Ideal to serve with red meat, pasta, fish and white meat with spiced sauces. Serving temperature 16-18° C (60 – 64 ºF). Alcohol 14%. Aged 8 months in French and American oak barrels.
