Las Perdices
Pinot Grigio from Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo. Just like its counterpart in
Italy, Las Perdices Pinot Grigio is a refreshing crisp white wine, punctuated
with notes of citrus, white flowers and herbs. While certainly not indigenous
to South America, it was planted in Mendoza due to its popularity with
consumers in South America and its global appeal as an easy-drinking wine. The
grape excels in vineyards planted at higher altitudes where the climatic
influences are cooler. Some of the best Pinot Grigio in Argentina comes from
the Lujan de Cuyo in the Mendoza region, situated along the foot of the Andes
Mountains. Las Perdices Pinot Grigio has a Greenish-yellow color, subtle citrus
aromas with floral edges. On the palate it has a well-balanced acidity and a
long finish. Excellent as an aperitif, and perfect with seafood and appetizers
with fish. Serving temperature 10-12° C (50 – 54 ºF)
