Cuvelier Los Andes Rose - Rose
Today the vineyard of Cuvelier
Los Andes stretches over 55 hectares (136 acres) with 10 hectares still to
plant. Our vineyards seem to have found a privileged place on this terrain of
alluvial stones and sands, basking in the warm, dry climate of Mendoza, cooled
by the refreshing night air of the Andes, our vines are ideally situated to
express the character of their various grape varieties in this stony, alluvial
gravel soil. Faithful to it’s French origins, Cuvelier Los Andes created this
Rosé with the goal of producing a Côtes de Provence-style Rosé but with 100% Malbec. Using same Malbec grape growing on same
terroir, creating a different expression of Malbec. This direct press Rosé is fresh and balanced
with intense floral aromatics.
This very attractive rose
has a beautiful pale salmon color with pink hues. Full of pleasurable
sensations transporting effusive notes of citrus, Provençal flowers and fresh
fruit such as apricots and peach. Mouth: Medium-intensity with impressively
fresh and juicy, crisp finish and easy to drink. Very inviting to drink.
Rosé wine and sunshine go
hand-in-hand, and are tailor-made for the sort of aperitif that can allow you
to sit back and watching the world go by on an early summer evening. It’s ideal
to sip together with tapenade or a salade Niçoise, a saffron paella while
forking bite after bite of calamari. Also a match made in heaven when it comes
to grilled fish, fresh greens or chicken. But also a delicious wine to enjoy
with sushi, light snacks and goats’ cheeses. Drink your Rosé now- who knows
what tomorrow will bring!!!
